Posted by valvehosting, 03-08-2010, 11:21 AM Hello, I am struggling with an old cisco catalyst w-c2948g router we had in storage. I like to use it between my fiber optic line and 2 servers. Mostly as a L2 switch, But.... I cannot get anywhere with the darn thing. Maybe it has the wrong catos? For example, I go into "en" and it shows router/enable I try "conf t" I get a message I can only use "set" I did manage to change the IP and all, but NO idea what to do. Also, anyone got cisco access and can get the correct os for this?
