has no fees whatsoever but only they deduct a % of the transaction, i know instabill.com but don't you think 10% is alot? thanks for any help

There are a number that do this, and all will charge a higher percentage thatn a regular merchant account. What you're paying for, at least partially, are their prices associated with maintaining transaction services *and* whatever protection they might need as far as insurance and such due to fraudulent transactions that might pass through their network (think in terms of chargebacks, etc.). The fees these services may vary, but you'd be hard pressed to find one that matches the better merchant account providers out there. I seem to recall one charging somewhat lower than 5%, but can't remember the name of it offhand.

Revecom - 3.95% + $1 + $49 one time setup fee. Go for a search, I am sure Revecom and Instabill are among the best price. Others will be lower if you have a merchant account: $195 -$295 to setup + $0.25 per transactipn + monthly gateway fee

You might find the following link helpful: http://ecommerce.about.com/smallbusi...sing/index.htm Most of them require you to have your own merchant account, and some (like Instabill) don't, but they're all mixed in that list. Ibill, Globill, and Digibuy are a few more that don't require any fees whatsoever other than the per-transaction discount rates. Revecom is pretty cost-effective if you don't mind the $49 one-time setup. They don't charge monthly fees and have a good fraud protection system in place. Mark Vockler Aletia Hosting

what do you guys think of ccbill.com ? is it 2.95 per transaction? i think that's good don't you? thanks for the suggestions above

2.95????? Not if you want to keep your web hosting at a good price. What if you were offering a 10MB plan at say $5... Because of the billing that's 160% of what you were originally going to charge.. Instabill would probably be your best bet!

If your service selling price is less than $17, go with Instabill or other company charge you for only 10% per transaction. If it is more than $17, Revecom is more cost effective. Why? How? See below: Product selling for $15: Instabill: $15 - 10% = $13.50 Revecom: ($15 - 3.95%) - $1 = $13.40 Product selling for $20: Instabill: $20 - 10% = $18.00 Revecom: ($20 - 3.95%) - $1 = $18.21
