Cpanel account copying between servers

Is there any option to keep the DNS and IP records unchanged during pkgacct / restorepkg? the IP's from the current server are moving to the new server.

One way to achieve this is to temporarily change the main IP address of the server to the IP you need and the main server nameservers to the ones you need. Restore the account from the shell using pkgacct after this. Once this is done change back the settings.

Thanks for the reply, that way would cause issues as there is already sites running on the server.

No, it will not affect the current settings, as long as you do not make any modifications to the accounts on the server with the new main IP set.
