Is there an organization body out there that a person can report “hackers” and “hijackers” too?

Usually best to report abuses to the ISP that hosts the cracker (proper term) or hijacker. Also look at places like Dshield.

a person can report “hackers” Hackers do not cause harm, they learn the system and go away. They do no stealing and read of your mail/documents or credit card nos./bank acs details. The progress of technology needs hackers who further the frontiers of the Internet/CyberSpace. Crackers have to be tracked down and reported to your local law officers. Do not leave them alone, pursue them. Last edited by ragubhat; 08-20-2008 at 07:33 AM.

So this is what I learned: 1. Hackers = harmless hinder (confuse on that but...) 2. Crackers = dangerous 3. Hijackers = dangerous It haven't happen to us - but I need to make sure that I do know what to do - just in case. Do you guys have any type of procedure plan in place just in case a 'cracker' actually get pass your security?
