Moving to VPS

I am currently hosting my site in shared hosting. Domain at namecheap and using cloudflare.
I am trying to change hosting to a Windows VPS. I have installed XAMPP.
Added my domain in hosts file, created the virtual hosts to my domain.
Now when i change my Cloudflare Pointing to my VPS IP it just doesn't open my site.
What am i doing wrong? Is there any guide for this? Thank you!

Does your website load for you (from the Windows VPS) when you visit it directly or does the problem only occur when you try to point Cloudflare towards it? You can edit the HOSTS file on your computer to temporarily point the domain to the IP address of your Windows VPS.

I already added this to my HOSTS file:
127.0.0.1 mydomain.com
When i type mydomain.com to in VPS browser, it loads my site.
When i change cloudflare ip to my VPS, it takes my shared hosting site down. And VPS site doesn't go online.

Do you get any error codes from CloudFlare?

I just tried again.. Same thing.
Cloudflare says Active. Site goes down.. I change back to old IP and comes up again.
Is the Virtual Host and editing HOSTS file all i need to do? What you suggest me to do.. I am desperate.

Solved my own problem.
There was firewall blocking my ip from being accessed from outside.
Had to add port 80 to firewall.
