Does anyone know how to contact someone from HOSTLUCK.COM?

We have a web streaming business and my business partner thought it would be a good idea to offer our clients web site hosting. Most of our clients are online radio and tv stations. He setup a re-sellers account with HOSTLUCK.COM and he is having trouble getting in touch with someone for tech support or to cancel and refund the account! Does anyone have any pointers or ideas? Well looking at their whois info I get the following so maybe try the phone number in India if they do not answer support tickets? ****, Dhaval ****_dhaval12@yahoo.com a113,pranik garden, Mahavir nagar,Kandivli - west Mumbai, Na 400067 India Phone: 02228090211 Personally, I not sure why anyone would host with a company that does not offer any contact info on their website.

Personally I would switch web hosts and find one located in the US. Being that he's from India can cause a lot of problems with communication, and times that they are online.

Also, if you paid via PayPal, you can look in your PayPal acct for contact info. If there is still no response from them and you paid with a CC, you can contact your CC issuer and dispute the charge as a "last" resort. ADDED: I also did a tracert for hostluck.com and found mydosty.com which is owned by the same person. They do have a Live Chat on their site, which is currently allowing for you to send a message and also a contact form at mydosty.com/Contact-Us.php Last edited by tcstatic; 05-12-2009 at 09:41 AM. We've both sent numerous emails to ****_dhaval12@yahoo.com and I even tried to IM him. The phone number doesn't work either. My partner choose them because of the price. I think he learned his lesson! I hope!

We tried to hit him up on mydosty too and still no answer!! I found his myspace and facebook pages and left him a few messages. The contact information on PayPal wasn't correct either. His next step is the credit card company. Stay clear of these people! DJ Osiris

Yep, I think everyone has to learn from their mistakes to realize when it comes to hosting - you more often than not get exactly what you pay for. When people pay $2.00-3.00 a month for reseller hosting...they can't expect much for server performance or uptime, let alone service/support at that price.

DJ Osiris, On their web site they claim to own their own data center in Texas, but a check on http://www.maxmind.com/app/locate_ip?ips=hostluck.com shows the IP is located in Global Net Access's data center in Atlanta Georgia, not their own. Also ****_dhaval12@yahoo.com is associated with about 14 domains. Sadly people do keep making these mistakes with $2.99 reseller accounts. The web is littered with fly-by-nights. At least a hosting reseller chosen from WHT is a very safe choice, because they have a proven track record and a reputation to stand behind. I wish you well.

Not necessarily. I don't know for sure, but I'd be willing to bet that there are more hosts here on WHT that would just as soon rip you off as give you good service.

I may even start a thread on this subject as I find time. Maybe a safer choice is a better term than what is on offer out there on the world wild web. I feel there are more checks and balances selecting a host at WHT rather than some of these so-called pay-per-review web reviewers.

Hi, I am from HostLuck.com. Please use the support center for queries. www*hostluck.com/SupportBase/ currently, we have no support ticket from you. The Phone number is valid, you have to use country code +91 before it. But phone support is only for dedicated server clients. Hi, I can't get in contact with them either. Did you in the end? I file a support ticket ( I have actually filed 4 now) and I get no email in my inbox and don't know what to do. I need my domain changed asap. If the tech staff guy comes back on here it is grahamridley@ymail.com

I am sorry to hear it. Well the times are changing, that's for sure. Those who you thought could never disappear are gone today. We are in uncharted waters these days. We are very happy with our host and they came from WHT. 100% uptime since we switched. --Michael
