Free Comodo WAF rules with Plesk - anyone try them?

Hi We tested the Free Comodo Rules for IIS and IIS 8 on plesk servers we have. I'm just wondering why there is not much interest from community on their IIS ruleset compared to Linux ones? It sees far better than the OWASP ones we had which caused major headaches in IIS. https://forums.comodo.com/free-modse...t113751.0.html

The rules from Comodo are fairly structured. I'd say the lack of interest, isn't really a lack of interest but rather a lack of audience. IIS is becoming less and less common nowadays and those who are using it in a commercial environment prefer to develop their own rule-sets rather than use pre-defined rule sets. Anyhow, comodo preset rules are fairly good.

Hi, The level of infection and hack is more on the linux than on the Windows, so very few of them really try to install Modsecurity on IIS. However, it is good to have security in place, especially when it comes to SQL injection and things... I personally prefer having the Modsecurity enabled with a good rulesets. Comodo rules does fairly a good job.
