This person used to sell on ebay but now does not have any current listing under his username northern_lights_2000. My site is also down and hosted on tecsuppport.info but the name in email was East End Hosting, so I think tecsupport and East End Hosting is the same company. May be they have vanished?

Site was up Monday morning, then by afternoon all traces vanished. Phone number is solid busy. Have most of my files and have contacted another hosting company; hopefully will be able to reconstruct most if not all of my two sites...

Really is not good have the customer websites downs for 2 days, i think you have not to wait more time to decide moving to other hosting provider. Having stress is normal because your customers really matter, but first you have to ask you the question, could you wait more time?, your customers can wait more time? before you know what is happening with the provider.

i know this may sound silly, but i use to back up my files once a month, i never had a problem with this host so after 4 years i stopped doing it. So the last back up i have on a different drive is over a year old so thats why i am stressing, there is way to much information that i can loose, all i do is want to get this back i also received this email from versaweb Hello Kyle unfortunately I cannot provide you with much information due to our Privacy Policy agreement. However I can assure you that this is merely a temporary issue and that your data is still 100% in tact. -- Regards, Dylan Botha Technical Support

Hey, I am a client of East End, and i made the same mistake of not backing up my websites. and I also got the following reply from versaweb I already switched hosting provider, but I really hope that the server goes online again just to get my data.

It looks like you are going to have to wait until they get things sorted and when it is back online take a regular backup of your data.

I have contacted versaweb a number of times now about giving some indication of how long its going to be down for since they said this was only a temporary issue and my data is 100% safe, all i want to know is how long will temporary be? I now dont get any replies. Now since they have made this statement, i guess that i will soon have access to my data, if not who can i contact over there to help me get this. I am not asking for much accept my data? if they are closed down so be it, but no indication was given of them shutting down. I guess like everyone we just want an answer, IS it going to be 1 week, 2 weeks, an estimated time is only fair. I more then happy to pay for a complete back up as well, and would even double or tripple the cost just to get this. Has anyone else heard anything? Thanks

Everyone who posted in this thread should look at this older thread: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1217917 It's all about versaweb and eastendhosting
