Stay away from biggest-hosting.com

bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: Biggest-Hosting.com <--- WARNING!!! I have had their service for 6 months. When i signed up it was a 24.95 plan, later on they have increased their fee to 99.95. I was promissed in an e-mail that my fee will remain the same, and now I found on my credit card statement a 99.95 charge. Can you people realize what this is? Just like stealing money! And for what? Their service was down multiple times last few weeks, and really when I signed up for their service, I signed up for a 24.95 fee and they should have consulted me before billing me nearly 100 bucks. What a scam! I truly recommend you people thinking twice before signing up, because they are not such high quality, and neither are they cheap! And get this: each time I checked their server status, memory usage and disk space were so high that I was afraid one day it would just stop working. I don't want to advertize on here, but I tell you people other Great services are out there for a fraction of their cost. And imagine, all this is true; I am not lying. If you are interested to see my correspondence with them e-mail me and i will forward it to you--just to see how cowards they are, and how they don't care of anything but making a rip off.

Did you contact your creditcard company to get a possible refund through them, as you are obviously displeased with what went on with biggest-hosting.com?

Just file a chargeback and get your money back.

Hi guys, It makes me feel a little better someone cares around. In fact, I am not so desperate over loosing the 75 bucks just like that (the difference from 24.95). I only hate to see that some people use this trickery to get rich over other's disappointments. I have filed with the credit card company a dispute, because Biggest-Hosting.com (it even makes me mad spelling their name) basically charged me a different amount that what I have agreed to. As I told them in a previous e-mail, before this month they used to e-mail me an invoice statement two days before posting the actual charge. Not this time. I got nothing, because OBVIOUSLY I would have cancelled the membership on the spot! There was no commitment, and nothing that would force me to stay with their service, and just out of curiousity I looked on their website and I could not even find a "Terms and Conditions" page. I wouldn't be surprised if they work on it to post it before the Credit Card company will start asking questions. I also filed a complaint to the IC3.gov, which is supposed to take care of internet related (payment/services) problems. -Catalin.

I hope you have all documentation in order in case of the credit card company asking you questions.

Since 6/Dec 2009, my server was down. So I infomed them. They said. 1. The server is forcing a FSCK be completed before your system will boot up fully.Normally it take 20 to 30 minutes depends on file system size. [This took 8 hours still down] 8 Hours later. 2. Reoaded the os and now need to rsync all the files, will take about 4 hours. 8 hours later 3. The disk has crashed, so replace new disk and rsyns.. did not tell how much take time. Then total 42 hours down at the moment, still down. No response to support ticket now. No response to live chat now (5 uers waiting). Will it be 48 hours then infinity?? Very Very Bad biggest-hosting.com. Stay away from biggest-hosting.com Last edited by mswe; 12-08-2009 at 04:12 AM. Reason: typing error

For $100, you can get yourself a master reseller! Try browsing around the offers form. I hope you can get your money back and this issue is resolved in a timely matter.

Bad things happen from time to time. You should keep backup on your local computer so you can restore and get your site back online quickly. If you use cpanel, you can do remote ftp backup to a shared hosting account remotely. It takes only 1 minute to generate backup but saves you lots of money and efforts when there's issue.

If I was your provider, I would of refunded you $75 to keep you as a customer! $100 a month? You can get reseller hosting for that much a year or close to that!

STAY AWAY! yes, stay away! they are one of the best till November. I just don't have time to write the whole story here, not patient me too have a small reseller account over there. one fine morning biggest-techs deleted one of my clients new domain and reason was it consumed HUGE resources[a wordpress which was installed 5 hours back, even without any SEO and the domain itself was not even registered] ... they were saying the mysql was consuming a lot memory, so I requested them to give me logs mentioning usage, they said 'no log for this certain event' !! ... after 5 days, the senior-tech confirmed it was a mistake from their part. I had to give my client money back, and moved all his domains away from me!! Another import fact is that this is not a professional hosting company, they don't even have a senior tech or a manager
