Pay Attention. STAY AWAY. They are big cheaters. I paid for reseller hosting 13-sep-2009. Still today i didn't receive my reseller account. I contacted their live support agent for 4 times, their response was very worst. here below i provide the screenshot of my chating session between me and the greenresellerwebhosting.com live agent. screenshot : http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/762...webhosting.gif They will not refund your money. I lost my $25 in there. Note: They using fake BBB certificate to cheat the members.

Sorry to hear about your experience with them. Did you try phoning them, or contacting them via the email address given to you by the livechat operator.?

Posted by Ore Stone Radio, 09-18-2009, 07:42 AM
Yep I would do as the rep said and contact them via phone. There was obviously an issue with your order...

Posted by atenood, 09-18-2009, 07:56 AM
just now i filed a complaint for refund and i report to paypal about their SCAM and Cheating.

Posted by Ore Stone Radio, 09-18-2009, 08:05 AM
What scam, what cheating? Have you contacted them yet as you were asked. Their is no way you will win a paypal complaint so you really need to contact them to sort this out... A PayPal dispute only applies to physical goods not services..

It is common to not accept refund requests through live support, and instead for security reasons to do it via your client area. I can't see any scamming going on here, they told you to contact the email, and you should. If after doing that they refuse to refund you or give you your account, then you have an argument.

If seller didn't deliver the purchased service mean what to tell..? Yes, I contacted for 4 times thro' support ticket emails like sales@greengeeks.com billing@greengeeks.com I know very well, I just don't need money. But i should not get cheated. i just want to make aware peoples like me.

And when did you contact them by email as you were asked to? You only signed up here at WHT today and 50% of your posts are calling various hosts rip-offs. How many different hosts do you average in a given month? Just wanted to ad that your image is not proof of anything. It actually shows you were told to follow particular steps. I saw nowhere in the chat that you stated you had followed these steps. So if they told you four times or 100 times in live chat to email sales and you do not do so...who's fault is that? Sorry, I am not saying you will get a refund or you will not, or if the company in question provides good service or not, but I don't think someone should run around calling "rip-off" unless they are told they are NOT getting a refund etc. Last edited by tcstatic; 09-18-2009 at 01:12 PM. They are a valid BBB member, you should stop your non-sense and get a clue about anything of what you talk about. http://www.la.bbb.org/Business-Repor...eeks-100084778 Green Reseller Web Hosting aka GreenGeeks

Why didn't you try going to the BBB before you decided to start posting??? You might have had a bit more credibility...

Odd, you came to our forum insulting us and telling how good esbhost were and how happy that you were with them, to realize on the same day that your account were suspended there and not with us. You are the tipical customer from hell. I'm very happy to not have you as a customer anymore.

Save the drama. Really... it seems you have the habit of running around and getting hosting and then cancelling and calling the people cheaters and rip-offs. I don't mean to come off as an attack personally to you, its simply there are particular steps required by every host for cancellation. If you try to short-cut these steps and continue to ignore these procedures, you cannot blame it on the host...its time to look at the way you conduct yourself in these transactions. Have you ever found a host that hasn't ripped you off in your opinion? If yes, then stick with that host. If not, who's really to blame? Ever hear of the boy that cried wolf? You are losing your creditability...fast.

You paid $15 per year, not per month.

Posted by darkeden, 09-18-2009, 03:48 PM
Just ignore this thread the op is doing rips and everything else and no way should be taken seriusly.

This was a prospective customer who we could not verify by phone, we called with no answer, here are notes from that day: Sep 12 2009 @ 10:05 AM [No Answer] # no good emailed to confirm - (NEF-772729) he was also contacted through the ticket system after he contacted our billing department and received his reply to Karl which he references below: Posted on: 16 Sep 2009 8:33 PM Hello, Your account was not activated as you have failed to call in or answer the calls we have placed to you. If you are able to call our sales line we can have your account activated. -- Josh Dargie Customer Service and again Posted on: 17 Sep 2009 6:21 PM Hello Paul, Your account is in process to be refund. No one has said anything about keeping your money. I have simply explained why you have not received your details, allowing you the ability to call in and have your account verified so that you could begin using the package. Since you wish to cancel, I have flagged this ticket for immediate resolution from our billing department. I wish you the best on your journey. -- Josh Dargie Customer Service ------------------------- His paypal record was kept open because we continued to try to find a way to verify his account. His account has subsequently been closed and refunded. There was a paypal dispute and we refunded the paypal account and the settled the dispute In no way do we try to keep people's funds without delivering our service. Thank you, Trey Gardner Green Geeks

As a former customer I can attest to the fact that GG require a phone call to verify the account before they set up the reseller account, and that it was spelled out in great detail in the welcome email that I received. I called first thing the next morning, and had my account soon after that.

From the chat transcript you posted as a screenshot, there was no prima facie scam. Just a very distraught customer asking for a refund. I've signed up for many accounts over the years, with different providers. Occasionally, a certain sign-up will be put on hold due to particular issues - such as disparity between the account details and the credit card information provided, or perhaps the client's details are different from the Whois details of the domain (I've experienced all these and more). As for refunds, I've asked for them many times as well (even from downtownhost) and I was always, always asked to put in a ticket through the support/client area. This transaction is too sensitive (as it is of a financial nature) to be handled through a live chat. Have you tried speaking with them via phone? A lot of hosts are definitely not perfect, for sure. However, it requires strong evidence to call a business a "scam."
