Unfortunately, I have a vps with hostv but everyday the server has gone down, but now its down from 24 hours ! are you got same happen with hostv ? Has anyone ask for refund of the money and they sent back to him?

I believe HostV is a good VPS provider. I am socked how they can be so much careless?

Of course, opened a ticket and the reply was ------- Hi, Scheduled Maintenance Operations have been started to fix the recent kernel issues we have been having, Please refer to the following URl's for updates, twitter.com/hostv - forums.hostv.com/server-network-news/1322-all-vps-node-kernel-update-tonight.html#post6797 ------ thread closed ------ Now the main server ( node ) in which your server resides is under file system check and mostly will be completed with in 60 minutes. Thank you ------------------------------ last twitter ]Unfortunately it is still not online, we are working on it. about 16 hours ago from web ----

Hi, Only one of our VPS NODE is down as of one night ago & affected and it was taken down for emergency maintenance earlier for kernel & os updates, but due to hardware failures it did not come back online and we're still in the process of restoring from our backups. In terms of downtime, if your vps goes down everyday then there must be some issues with your VPS or hitting it's limits, that do contact us after it has been restored. Before this incident most nodes have had 99.99-100% uptime for the past few months and trust me, we're doing our best to restore service asap through our R1Soft backups. NODE 16 still down... not looking good. I had excellent service up to this point. Been with them since August 2009. I have had to make other arrangements for my hosting. I guess I will just write off the remainder of my contract as a loss. Too bad, they were really good up until this point.
