Alternate Secure Server

I need to create a development plant whereby I have Server-A handle all unsecured domains while having Server-B handle those same domains under SLL (with a master SSL Cert). So, ***p://d1/app.php will be handled by Server-A ***ps://d1/app.php will be handled by Server-B I have seen what appears to be the following and will want to learn how to implement it: Requesting ***ps://d1/ redirects the browser to ***ps://sec.host.com/~user/ without the browser's address bar contents changing. I am currently running: ->pfSense2(LocalDNS,DHCP,Firewall,etc) ..LAN1->Server2003SP2:Apache2.2 and soon to add ..LAN2->Server2008R2:IIS/FastCGI Considerations that need covering include: * User's ability to install the users' applications only once * User's ability to modify all affected personal .htaccess files * Anything else I'm not realizing (reverse-proxies?) I think this would make a terrific tutorial. Last edited by bsmither; 02-18-2012 at 05:48 PM.
