tihcc check the error log files on the server. Reviewing them will let you know the problem. On a cPanel server path of error log file is /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log Paste the output of error log file here if you are unsure what to do next. Hope this helps admin@hoststop.co.uk Last edited by hoststopuk; 12-11-2011 at 02:45 AM.

You have provided very little information for anyone to help. Did you run any upgrade/scripts after which this issue started coming? What do you see in the error logs?

Usually these are from suphp related errors if you use it, in that case: Note that the following only should be done if you indeed utilize suphp. you should see the errors /etc/httpd/logs/suphp_log another good location is indeed look in the error_log file 1. Check that the php script that you are attempting to execute has permissions of no more than 644 2. Check that the directory permissions that the script resides within is set to a maximum of 755. This also includes directories that the script would need to have access to also. 3. Check that you do not have a .htaccess file with php_values within it. They will cause a 500 Internal server error, when attempting to execute the script. The php_values will need to be removed from your .htaccess file and a php.ini put in its place.

Do you know how your php is compiled? What output the following command gives?

Rebuilding apache might fix the issue. Just login to WHM and click on Easy Apache, select profile, select options and then rebuild.
